In 2000 I attended the “Special Impressions School of Beauty” where I gained Diplomas’ in Indian Head Massage, Acrylic Sculptured Nails, Nails Art and Nail Technician.

Then in 2001 I attended “Herts & Essex Academy” and gained Diplomas’ in Facial Massage and Skincare, Make-Up, Body Tanning, Eyelash/Eyebrow Tinting & Shape and Body Massage.

Other diplomas I have are “O.P.I Technical Workshop in the application of Clarite”.
O.P.I Center - Natural Nail Workshop and I qualified as an OPI Manicure Specialist.
I achieved a Minx Diploma in March 2010.

After qualifying in 2000 I became a full member of The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists and eligible to use the designated title of Member of The Guild of Beauty Therapists (MGBT).

I started work as a mobile Beauty Therapist  and worked for Heath’s Hairdressers in Wadebridge and the Treglos Hotel for 3 years. I was offered the beauty salon at Treglos but turned down the offer to work on some property development and concentrate on our family businesses, Harlyn Surf School and Saltwater Training. I worked in the family business up until 2010.

In 2010 I had some Minx treatments and loved the new dynamic approach to nail art. My passion for nails has never left me. I set up my home salon and I really enjoy the work that I do.  I love the fact that taking the time to have your nails done can really boost your self-confidence, it’s nice to have beautiful nails without the worry of being young, overtly sexy or thin.

I have met some amazing people on my journey so far!
